Trisha pleas for Vijay's sake

Earlier this week, social media was replete with the gruesome video of the tiger in Delhi Zoo killing a man who strayed into its premises. Suggestions from certain quarters indicated that the Zoo officials kill the tiger (named Vijay) as it had got the scent of the human blood and may not remain silent in the days to come.

 

However, animal lovers are petitioning President Pranab Mukherjee through on-line pleas to help save the tiger. Trisha, a known animal lover, too joined the chorus.

 

She, in her official account, tweeted, "Pranab Mukherjee: Please do not allow the sacrifice of the tiger of New Delhi Zoo."
