"Shahrukh Khan did not realize we were husband and wife"

The Arrambam wave has hit the world hard and is still rippling through the hearts of hardcore Ajith fans. Director Vishuvardhan spoke about the film and gave some interesting industry tidbits in a recent interview.

 

When the director was asked about the style quotient he identified in Ajith, he replied saying that Ajith is naturally stylish. The way he speaks and his mannerisms have a style. Ajith's current image is due to his personality and not his movies.

 

Vishnuvardhan spoke about Anu Vardhan, his wife, who is also the costume designer of Arrambam. He mentioned that they were very professional in the sets and did not behave as husband and wife. He recollected an instance in the sets of Ashoka in which he assisted Santhosh Sivan. 

 

"Shahrukh Khan did not know that we were married. When my wife told him that her husband was not well, he often used to ask her, 'how is your husband?'. There was one instance when he asked her the same thing just after I spoke to him. My wife was confused and asked him, why you are asking, you just met him. That was when Shahrukh realized that we were husband and wife."
