The Rowdy Rathore duo to return for Arrambam?

The buzz about Akshay Kumar expressing an interest to remake Ajith's latest hit, Arrambam has been doing the rounds for quite some time now. Now, we hear that Prabhu Deva might be wielding the megaphone for this remake. Prabhu Deva has always shined in handling remakes as evidenced with movies such as Wanted, Rowdy Rathore in Hindi and Pokkiri in Tamil.

Prabhu Deva has also apparently expressed a big interest to direct Ajith himself, in a straight Tamil movie. But before that, he intends to successfully direct this remake and then proceed with his plans of doing one with Thala. An official clarification is awaited in this regard to clear the air.

Prabhu Deva is currently waiting for the release of R... Rajkumar with Shahid Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha while Akshay Kumar is busy with movies such as Holiday, Its Entertainment to name a few.
