After Raja Rani, Jai joins Podiyan

Director of Siddharth-Ashrita Shetty starrer Udhayam NH4, Manimaran is set with his next film. Titled Podiyan, Jai will join the team after his successful appearance in Raja Rani.

Talking to behindwoods about the movie, director Manimaran says, “The story is set in a township. Friendship and politics will have a significant part in the movie. We are working on the artiste selection and will go on floors by January end.”
 

Manimaran has also decided to go with his Udhayam NH4 team. GV Prakash will work on the songs, Velraj on the cinematography and Kishore Te on the editing.
 

The director has also worked on the story and dialogues of Vetri Maaran’s next production venture, Poriyalan, directed by Thanukumar.
