Prabhu Deva, the choreographer turned actor turned director, appears to be a delighted man after unveiling his wax statue in the Lonavala wax museum today (2nd September 2013)

The actor was noticed by a wider spectrum of audience after his dance performance in Chikku Bukku Chikku Bukku Raile that featured in Gentleman. He had acted in numerous hit films in Tamil and Telugu before he established himself as a director in Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana, a Telugu film that starred Siddharth and Trisha in the lead.
 

Prabhu Deva, who is renowned for his remarkable choreography, received National Awards for Best Choreography in Minsara Kanavu (Tamil) and Lakshya (Hindi).
 

He dropped a few lines in his social media space expressing his happiness over the unveiling of his wax statue.
 

“Hi Friends, Today is a very imp day for me.. just unveiled my wax statue for the Lonavla wax museum.. I'm touched!!”
 

It should be noted that A.R Rahman, Shahrukh Khan, Michael Jackson and Kapil Dev are a few others who have their wax statues in the Lonavala wax museum.
