Shruti Haasan suffered a freak accident on the sets of Prabhu Deva’s Ramaiyya Vastavaiyya. The actress was apparently discussing a scene with the director beside a swimming pool where she suddenly slipped due to the wet conditions of the floor and fell pretty hard.

Shruti was rushed to the hospital immediately and was treated for her injuries. The medical team has advised her ample rest till she’s fully recovered and able to get back on the sets. The unit and the film’s producers have been understanding of the situation and have called off the shooting until the young lady is back to full form.
