Shruti Haasan has boldly opened up about her personal life to a daily. In an interview with them, the pretty lady, who by the way feels ‘Iyengar girls’ are always pretty, clarified why the thought of marriage puts her down.

She says she is a very independent person. Even as a kid she wouldn’t allow her mom to help her with her home works. She prefers to have her space and she says she is one of those people who would like to go to bed and wake up alone!

However, she is definitely not going to remain a spinster for life. She is expecting a kind man, who can make her laugh. Although she is not looking at a marriage in the near future!
