I invite more people to tread my path…to take South Indian cinema worldwide.

This song from Sagalakala Vallavan directed by S.P.Muthuraman sir, in 1982 was produced by AVM. Lead pair ‘sagalakalavallavar’ Kamal and Ambika with music by our dear maestro, sung by our effervescent golden voiced Balu-ji make this song a special one.

We have to keep in mind, in the 80s, Chennai did not really boast of nightclubs, bars or a Zara! This film was a runaway hit. I heard SPM sir was inspired by MGR’s Periya idathu penn (1963)
