Young and upcoming actress Vidyullekha Raman is fast climbing up the ladder in the industry as a bankable comedienne. She has already acted in films such as Neethane En Ponvasantham and Theeya Velai Seiyyanum Kumaru and is a part of two of the biggest films currently being filmed, Veeram and Jilla.

Contrary to popular belief, she says that Ilayathalapathy Vijay is a really talkative and jovial person. "Both of us share a passion for cars and Vijay Sir promised me that he would let me drive his Mini Cooper. (It must be noted that the Mini Cooper was made really popular in the Hollywood movie 'The Italian Job' starring Mark Wahlberg, Edward Norton and Charlize Theron) He also appreciated me after one of my shots and said that I performed really well. I am very confident of Jilla's success and the audience will have something new to experience in the movie."  

In Veeram, Vidyu is paired opposite Santhanam and would also have combination scenes with Ajith and Tamannah. "My makeover and role in Veeram would be totally in contrast to what I am in person. The director envisioned me in this role while writing the script and I hope to do justice to his expectations. Ajith Sir is really humble, down to earth and goes out of his way to talk to everyone on the sets. His role in Veeram would be completely different from what he has done in Arrambam"

Vidyu is also looking forward to the release of her Telugu movie, Ramayya Vasthavayya starring Junior NTR, Samantha and Shruti Haasan and directed by Harish Shankar. She has even dubbed in her own voice for this role and is hopeful that the movie would be a blockbuster and open new avenues for her in the industry.

The youngster is also hopeful that more good movies keep coming out of the Tamil industry so that there is growth and progress for everyone concerned.
