After his Settai, director Kannan was expected to work with actor Karthi. But, that project hasn’t taken off obviously. We are now informed that the director has signed another project with Global Infotainment Pvt Ltd, who produced the recent Vishal starrer, Pattathu Yaanai.

Actor Vemal will do the lead role of the film and Imman will be scoring. The team is on the look out for a top heroine too. The shooting will begin in February 2014 and the team is looking to release the film by June 2014.
