Babu Antony is a happy man

Babu Antony, the tall and striking actor who acted in movies like Kanchana and Vinnaithandi Varuvaaya is having a great time in the Tamil industry. The actor who basically hails from the Malayalam film industry is now working in 'Kaakka Muttai', directed by Manikandan and jointly produced by Dhanush's Wunderbar Productions and Vetri Maaran's Grass Root Films. The movie is based on kids dwelling in the slums. 

 

The actor is also playing an important character in Vasanthabalan's Kaaviya Thalaivan that has Siddharth in the lead. 

 

"My last two films, Kanchana and Vinnaithandi Varuvaaya were super hits. I feel lucky that all my films in Tamil right from Poovizhi Vasalile and Soorya have become hits." says the actor.

 

It should also be noted that the actor's son Arthur Antony has sung an English song for a Malayalam film.
