AR Rahman-Siddharth in April?

Vasantha Balan’s Kaaviya Thalaivan is progressing at a faster rate than anticipated. Just at the end of September we had reported that the team has already canned 45% of the film. We are now informed by our sources that they have completed shooting 80% of the movie already. It looks like they’ll start their promotional campaign in December as planned.
 

A small birdie also tells us that they are planning to release the period movie in April 2014. AR Rahman on the other hand has already composed a few stunning tracks for the films. Being a musical, there’ll be a number of songs in the film.
 

But as it has been speculated, Kaaviya Thalaivan is not a biopic of KB Sundarambal and Kittappa. The movie stars Siddharth, Vedhika, Prithviraj, Anaika, Nassar and Thambi Ramaiah in critical roles.
