Kaaviya Thalaivan is not what you think

Vasantha Balan’s Kaaviya Thalaivan, which was rumoured to be the adaptation of KB Sundarambal and Kittappa’s love saga, is apparently not that. But it is set in their period and is a grand musical, as speculated.
 

Meanwhile, 45% of the film has been canned over 2 schedules and the talkie portions are expected to be completed by the end of November. The makers are also supposedly planning to begin the promotional campaigns by December end or January.
 

The team is also confident that the cinematography and art direction will be spoken about after the release. The other highlight of the film is obviously AR Rahman’s music. Our sources close to the team assure that there will be a lot of music in the film and reveal that the composer has already composed some stunning numbers.
 

Vasantha Balan’s Kaaviya Thalaivan, produced by Y Not Studios, has Siddharth, Prithviraj, Vedhika, Anaika, Nasser and Thambi Ramaiah in the central roles and they have come up with spectacular performances. Nirav Shah has taken the spot behind the lens.
