Paradesi backs out!

Director Bala has backed out from submitting his upcoming film Paradesi to the celebrated Festival de Cannes aka Cannes Film Festival. In a statement, B Studios revealed that they have backed out from the competition ‘to cater the overseas fans of Bala’.
According to the rules of the competition, the films that have not been released anywhere other than their country of origin, will only be allowed to participate in the prestigious Festival de Cannes.
Paradesi is expected to release worldwide on 15th March 2013. The film, starring Atharva Murali, Vedhika and Dhansika in the lead, carries a ‘U’ certificate and is 123 minutes in duration.
