Bollywood director Anurag Kashyap has always been a fan of Tamil movies as evidenced by the title credits of Gangs of Wasseypur in which he credited directors Bala, Ameer and Sasikumar for inspiring him to get back to his roots.

He recently saw Bala’s upcoming Paradesi and he has been blown away by it. He tweeted his appreciation of the film and said that it is Bala’s best work till date. Even Bala’s mentor Balu Mahendra felt that Paradesi was Bala’s best film. With so many accolades pouring for the film pre-release, fans are a really expectant lot.
 

Paradesi is supposed to be released on February 22. Atharvaa, Vedhika and Dhansika lead the star cast of Paradesi.
