Veteran actress Rajasulochana died today, March 5^th 2013. She was 77. The actress, who had been living in the USA, had come to India for a visit. While in Chennai, her health had deteriorated, following which she was admitted in a private hospital. The actress passed away in the hospital today, at around 2 AM.

Rajasulochana had been an extraordinary actress and has performed with all the south Indian superstars of her times- MG Ramachandran, Sivaji Ganesan, NT Rama Rao, Raj Kumar, SS Rajendran, AP Nagarajan and MN Nambiar. Being a dancer herself, she is also the founder of Pushpanjali Nritya Kala Kendram that has created a number of classical dancers.
 

Rajasulochana’s son, who is in the USA, is on his way to Chennai for the funeral that will take place tomorrow afternoon.
