Developed by : Murugan; Kaushik; Jigdesh;Tamil cinema and their stars have never been found short of displaying patriotism. While some of the stories feature our heroes as brave army officers or sincere civil servants, some of them don’t require the Government’s accreditation to pledge allegiance to the greater cause of the nation. On the occasion of our Republic Day, Behindwoods picks some such displays of patriotism of our Superstars.
Nadigar Thilagam Sivaji Ganesan has gone on to become the face of many of the great freedom fighters from the Southern region. The personalities of the likes of Kappalottiya Thamizhan, Veerapandiya Kattabomman, Tiruppur Kumaran and V.O. Chidambaram Pillai have been brought to life by the ace performer.
