Acclaimed Bollywood director Anurag Kashyap, who is a self-proclaimed fan of Tamil cinema and particularly an admirer of Bala’s films, has shown interest to showcase Bala's latest ‘Paradesi’ to the North Indian audience.

Anurag Kashyap through his production company, Phanton Films Pvt. Ltd., plans on releasing ‘Paradesi’ in Central and North India in Tamil but with the aid of English and Hindi subtitles. Earlier this month, Anurag Kashyap had an opportunity to watch the film and expressed his appreciation of the filmmaker.

Bala’s Paradesi is expected to hit screens very soon, and this move of Anurag Kashyap would certainly help place Tamil cinema on a pedestal, in front of the North Indian audience.
