Gautham Karthik, son of yesteryear hero Karthik, is getting a dream debut with Mani Ratnam’s ‘Kadal’. We hear the movie has been wrapped up and getting its finishing touches and the director was reportedly very proud of Gautham’s performance. Just as the young man prepares to take the industry by storm he might face some stiff competition from his own family member. No, not his dad but his brother Gyain Karthik.
Sources tell us that acclaimed writer/director Cheran has shown interest to cast the young Gyain Karthik for a city based subject as he felt that the youngster would fit the bill perfectly. It is learned that Cheran will be scripting and producing the film while one of his assistants will be directing it. The crew is on the lookout for three more new faces that can fit the character descriptions of the story.
