Look who's directing Soodhu Kavvum in Hindi

The director of the 200 crore grossing blockbuster Chennai Express, Rohit Shetty, has been confirmed as the director of the Hindi remake of the cult comedy Soodhu Kavvum. The remake rights of the film had been acquired by former actor turned producer Arun Pandian and Rockline Venkatesh.
An official statement confirmed that the Bollywood remake will star Imran Khan and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead and will be made under a joint production of A&P Group and Rockline Productions along with Rohit Shetty’s own new banner.
There are also talks of a Malyalam remake of Soodhu Kavvum which will be apparently be solely produced by A&P Groups.
