BRAMMAN MOVIE RELEASE EXPECTATION

Every film must have a sense of purpose, feels Sasikumar and all his films are instances. Post Kutti Puli, the actor is set for the release of Bramman. Touted to be an urban romance, the film is the launch pad of director Socrates, a former assistant of Kamal Haasan and director / actor Mouli. Lavanya Tripathi debuts in Tamil as the female lead and Soori, Santhanam, Jayaprakash and Padmapriya form the rest of the ensemble. Here’s what Sasikumar had to say about the film.

“I play Siva in Bramman. Like all my films this one also has a subtle message.”

 

“Bramman is a proper commercial entertainer with the right proportion of romance, sentiment, action and an engaging line. Just like all my other films, Bramman is a clean movie, without any sequences that would make the family audience frown with embarrassment.”

 

About the director, Sasikumar says, “I kept hearing Socrates’ name in odd places since my Nadodigal days. So I invited him one day and twenty minutes into the narration, I decided to do the film.”

 

Bramman is jointly produced by Manju K and Joseph Anto. Both are established producers in Karnataka and Kerala respectively. Sasikumar has enjoyed success earlier in both the industries and hence decided to launch the producers into the Tamil industry.

 

Having got a clean U certificate, the film is releasing on the 21st of February.
