BEHINDWOODS GOLD SHORT FILMS – TOP 20 ANNOUNCED

On May 31^st 2015 Behindwoods Gold Medals was formally launched along with which a Short Film contest was also announced. With strong support and encouragement from the new-gen stars - Bobby Simha, Karthik Subbaraj, CV Kumar, Balaji Mohan and Santhosh Narayanan, the Behindwoods Gold Short Film contest went on floors.

Within a span of 40 days, in which the contest was live, a whopping 300 submissions were made by passionate and aspiring filmmakers from around the globe, including USA, UK, Norway, Germany, Malaysia, Singapore, Dubai, Sri Lanka and other parts of India.

The contest closed on 10^th July, 2015 and a well-informed panel of jury watched each and every film and came up with a shortlist of 20 best short films. These 20 films will feature in the Behindwoods Gold Short Films Wall of Fame 2015.

Two best films will be picked from these 20 and will be awarded the Behindwoods Gold Medal for Best Short Film. The two winners will also be given a chance to narrate their script to one of the leading producers in the Tamil industry. While the two winners will be announced on the 18^th of July, 2015, we present to you the Top twenty films and their directors!
