THE TEARFUL SEND-OFF

The musical legend M S Viswanathan left to reside in his heavenly abode yesterday, the 14^th July and his mortal remains were consigned to flames this morning, 15^th July at Chennai. Hordes of his fans and followers which include members from the film fraternity and politics paid their respects to the Mellisai Mannar and gave him a very affectionate but a tearful farewell.

Superstar Rajinikanth, Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan and Ilayathalapathy Vijay paid their obeisance to the Jambavan of Music while political leaders Vaiko, G K Vasan, M K Stalin, Thamizhisai Soundarrajan and Vijayakanth were also seen bidding a teary adieu to MSV.

Celebrities who paid their respects to MSV include Ilayaraja, K J Yesudas, Seerkazhi Sivachidambaram, P Suseela, S Janaki, L R Easwari, Vairamuthu, Anirudh, James Vasanthan, Imman, singer Srinivas, Unnikrishnan, Harris Jayaraj, Vijay Anthony, Karthik Raja, Thamarai, Prabhu, T Rajendar, Sarathkumar, Vikraman, K S Ravikumar, Vivek, Y Gee Mahendra, Vishal, Vadivelu, Vijaykumar, Khushbu, Pandiraj, Pyramid Natarajan and many more.

As reported earlier, the film industry suspended all their activities today as a mark of respect to the departed soul.
