Oct 13, 2014 Tamil Cinema always welcomes newcomers and if the newbies are promising, then they stay put and head the road to success. One such promising music composer is Nivas Prasanna. After Thegidi, his successful first film album, the music composer is going places.
When we contacted him, the youngster was delighted to inform that he has been doing two films as of now - Zero an experimental supernatural thriller and Ashok Selvan's next film Varaipadam.
"After Thegidi, Zero will again have Shankar Mahadevan sir singing a song. The work on Zero is almost done."
When asked about Varaipadam he says,
"This movie with Ashok Selvan will have mainstream commercial elements. I am planning to use many versatile singers like Chinmayee, Arijit Singh and Sid Sriram. Both the albums are very close to my heart and are expected to release by this year-end or early next year."
The composer also said that the public's response to these two albums would be crucial in shaping his career ahead. With soulful songs from Thegidi, we can hope for some more variety in his music.
