Mysskin, in an interview about his upcoming film Yudham Sei, spoke on why he decided to cast Cheran in the lead role. He says that in this film, the hero has no romantic angle and that he knew no Tamil hero could do such a role but he wanted to cast a familiar face. In a moment of brainwave, he pictured director-actor Cheran who has played realistic and common man roles and decided that Cheran would play the lead.
Yudham Sei which means wage a war is a story of good versus bad. Mysskin is just three films old but it was all quality cinema and we hope Yudham Sei will be better than his best.
