Pizza 2 is about to release and Ashok’s next is almost ready too

Ashok Selvan of Soodhu Kavvum fame is debuting as hero with Pizza 2- Villa. The second film from the Pizza franchise, directed by Deepan Chakravarthy is coming out this Thursday, November 14^th. We got in touch with Ashok Selvan, who sang praises of his director Deepan. “An extraordinary writer and visualizer he is. Deepan gives us freedom to explore our areas and is always open to suggestions. He is a very patient man and he waits till he gets the best out of everyone. I’m sure he’ll go places,” suggests the actor.
 

Ashok is also doing the lead in Thirukumaran Entertainments and Vel Mediaa’s Thegidi, directed by Ramesh. “We have wrapped up the film in 45 days. It’s a murder mystery. There’ll be nothing strange or alien in the film. People would definitely be able to relate to the incidents. Still, it’ll be an edge of the seat thriller,” he says.
 

Janani Iyer is pairing up with Ashok in this film. Nivas Prasanna is presently working on the compositions, we are informed. “Since all songs have been planned as montages, we might not have to go for any song schedules in the future,” explains Ashok.
