Vijay's Kaththi has been censored as reported earlier, with a clean U certificate and all eyes are now on when the trailer would come out. The film is set for release on 22nd October and its tax exemption status would be known in the coming days.

Meanwhile, in Karnataka, where Tamil films enjoy good patronage particularly in Bengaluru, Kaththi would be released by Goldie Films. Vijay is among the few Tamil stars in Bengaluru who has consistently been met with a great reception over the years. Kaththi looks like yet another addition to his long hit list in Bengaluru.
