Ajith set to revisit his Billa days for 'Thala 55'

The Ajith - Gautham Menon film (Thala 55) has been shot in Chennai all along over the past few months. 2 schedules have been completed and a total of 26 days of shoots have been done till date. The team plans to complete the entire film within 85 to 100 shooting days.

 

Next up, the 'Thala 55' team will be travelling to Malaysia tomorrow, the 9th of June and they will be there for a period of 1 week to can some important scenes and montage shots which would be used for the songs. Ajith shares a special bond with Malaysia as one of his biggest hits Billa was completely shot there.

 

After the Malaysian schedule, the team will continue the shoots in Chennai as the city holds a prominent place in the script. In the earlier schedules, a lot of candid shots were canned early in the morning featuring Ajith in some of the important spots of the city such as TTK Road and Stella Maris college. The ECR and OMR were some of the other areas where the shoots were done.

 

According to an authentic source, Ajith's character in the movie would have two segments - one where he would be in his early 30s and the other in his 40s. Trisha and Anushka are believed to be Ajith's onscreen partners in these segments respectively.
