''Vijay Sethupathi and I have similar tastes'' - Nani

Actor Nani, who is currently associated with Aaha Kalyanam, expressed his fondness towards Vijay Sethupathi. In a recent interview, he revealed that both have developed a good friendship. “He likes my films and I love all his works. We don’t talk much but we get along well every time we meet at an event or some place. Both our perspectives towards cinema are similar and our interests and tastes match too. He has a knack of picking distinct scripts, which is what I like the most about him,” said Nani.

Nani also holds the remake rights of Vijay Sethupathi’s Pannaiyarum Padminiyum, which is expected to release in the first week of February. The Rummy actor in a recent event revealed that he was the one to recommend Nani to take up Pannaiyarum Padminiyum. Therefore, it is speculated that Nani himself might star in the Telugu remake of the film.

Meanwhile, Nani’s Aaha Kalyanam, also starring Vaani Kapoor, is all set for a release on 7^th February. Directed by debutant Gokul Krishna, the movie marks the entry of Yash Raj Films into the Tamil film industry.
