Films have to squeeze through to initially manage a decent theatrical release, then only comes the second part of the story, the number of days it survives at the box-office.

When films hardly have a week in theatres, Radhakrishnan Parthiban's Kathai Thiraikathai Vasanam Iyakkam has completed a 50 days theatrical run. The film's novel plot breaking cliches was unanimously lapped up by cine-goers and the actor-director got it all right this time.

Let's take this chance to congratulate the team for its unique effort in making a film with a difference. Back to his typical form, Parthiban's next will be a film titled Upma!
