“I felt Suriya would be better than Vijay”

Director/Actor Parthiban is gearing up for his next release Kadhai Thiraikadhai Vasanam Iyakkam and the audio release is set to happen on the 25^th of May. The film has interesting cameos from all leading actors like Arya, Vijay Sethupathi, Amala Paul, Vishal, Taapsee, Thambi Ramiah and many more. The film’s music is composed by Thaman, Vijay Antony, Shareth, Alphonse Joseph and Sathya.  

Parthiban is an experienced technician in the industry and when asked about why he had not associated himself with leading stars like Vijay or Ajith in his career, Parthiban says, “I was to have to done Vijay’s Nanban. But I was a bit confused if Vijay would fit the role essayed by Aamir Khan in Hindi. I felt Suriya would suit better. But Vijay was the one who recommended me for this. When I was undergoing this confusion, Shankar sir had come into the picture and of course Nanban had come out very well”.

Parthiban’s Kadhai Thiraikadhai Vasanam Iyakkam is said to be in his true style with lots of his trademark humor.
