'Don't make fun of the Sumos and Jeeps flying around' - Director Hari

The current new wave of cinema involves a lot of experimentation from young film makers, but senior commercial director Hari doesn't need them. He sticks to his own format, and continues to give roaring successes, year after year.

 

At the Poojai press meet held yesterday, he said, "I do all movie-related work down south, and there, all I see is aruvaal and gang wars. When I do scripting in Kutralam for 20 days, I would see 18 problems. So, I make my movies based on that. However, I never have said that that's right. I make it a point that somewhere in the movie, I condemn the act."

 

Hari also asked the people gathered to not make fun of the Sumos and Jeeps flying around!
