It's official - Lingaa WILL be a Thalaivar birthday treat

At the ongoing Lingaa audio launch event, the makers have announced that the film would hit the screens for sure on Rajini's birthday which falls on December 12th. In the just-released trailer, the message in the end says that it's a December release but we have it from the horse's mouth (producer Rockline Venkatesh) that 12th will be the day.

With Lingaa announcing its release date, the other flicks (small, medium and big) have to work around their release plans to make sure that they won't be standing in the way of the 'Boss' for a couple of weeks atleast, as he looks to smash records the world over.

Eros International would be releasing Lingaa all over the world in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. Stay tuned for more from the audio launch event.
