Lingaa Trailer Review - A full-fledged entertainer with substance and lots of typical Rajini style.

The trailer of Superstar Rajini's latest feature film, Lingaa directed by K.S.Ravikumar was launched a few moments back at the grand music launch event happening currently at Sathyam Cinemas, Chennai. The trailer has also been released online and we have to admit that Lingaa has 'blockbuster' written all over it. It looks like a full-fledged entertainer with substance and lots of typical Rajini style.

 

The trailer begins with the wordings "We deem him as one of the greatest beings of our times", "We shall never see another like him again" and "His name will live in history forever" along with introductory shots of the Superstar addressing a large group of people. 

 

A dam is in focus and in Rajini's own commanding words, it decides the livelihood and the future of a lot of people. There are dialogues laced with wit, fun, meaning and punch all over the trailer in the typical Rajini mode of delivery. In both the roles, the legend has enough in store for his countless fans.

 

The grand train fight has been given pride of place along with the two heroines, Anushka and Sonakshi. Anushka is oozing style and glamour while Sona appears in the pre-independence portions of the film sporting ethnic costumes. Santhanam's enjoyable counters, the extravagant song sequences and the patriotism aspect also find space in this 2 mins 4 secs long trailer

 

What looks like Rajini's signature punch lines in the film "Lets begin" and "See you soon" bring the trailer to a closure. And the message is loud and clear that Lingaa is a December release.
