''Siva and I are planning to watch our movies together'' - Neason

Director Neason's Pongal release Jilla with Vijay and Mohanlal is raking in appreciable moolah at the box office and the entire team of the movie is mighty impressed with the results. In a recent interview, director Neason opened up about the film, his working with two popular stars and the balancing that he had to do between them.

 

Director said that he was very happy with the great opening that the movie had taken across the globe. He also said that it felt very nice to see the camaraderie shared by Vijay and Mohanlal.   

 

On a poser about any regrets about the film, Neason said, "In retrospect the film could have been better, especially the screenplay and the length too was a bit of a problem" He also divulges that it was difficult to get the right kind of balance between the screen presence of two powerful stars. Neason also added that he was not able to do complete justice to Mohanlal and regrets that his story could not provide enough room for an actor of such caliber. 

 

Neason on a lighter note joked that he and Siva, director of Veeram are planning to watch each other's movies together, to protect each other from respective fans.
