Nothing wrong in competition. Keep competition intact. It will provide benefits for both the contestants. Every action has an equal and opposite reaction. I'm not sure , whether this Newton's theory applies perfectly in any other field or not, but it surely applies for the Tamil film Industry.

There are three eras in Tamil Film Industry.MGR - Shivaji era , Rajini- Kamal era and now Ajith- Vijay era. From 1955 to 1980 , for 25 years the competition between MGR _ Shivaji was intact. No one could enter in between their competition. Fans were divided among themselves to support their favorite actor. It was healthy. But after MGR's  entry into politics, the competition between those legends in Cine Industry had gone and after 1980 people had changed their interests in cine competition towards Rajini - Kamal. They are being uncrowned Kings from 1980 to till this date, for more than 3 decades. 

During the year 1996 another combo had raised in Tamil Cinema simultaneously with the films, Ajith with Kaadhal Kottai and Vijay with Poove Unakkaakaga. The competition among Ajith and Vijay had started spicy and hot during the starting of 21st century , in 1999 Ajith with Vaali and  in 2000 Vijay with Kushi.. Yes 2000 is the year where the tight competition between Ajith and Vijay has started. Till this date it continues.

Till the competition is there among both, they will remain in top positions. There would not be any other alternative opinion. Rajini- Kamal both are keeping good rapport among them, but if  they wanted to fight in film career , there would not be any sacrifice among them. This was the Mantra among them to maintain the top positions for more than 3 decades. Similarly Ajith- Vijay fans too should keep the competition between them as an intact one. There would not be any compromise. In personnel life, everybody knows both Ajith and Vijay are very thick friends. But if it comes in career in film industry, there should be tough fight. That kind of fight is always healthy 

I request both Ajith and Vijay fans, to make successes for all the good films of both the actors. Don't discourage your opponent star's film. After 7 years, again this year we have witnessed with Ajith - Vijay film on same day. Both the films are good and watch worthy. Opinions may differ very slightly among the viewers. But both films deserve to watch. Ajith fans can encourage Vijay's Jilla too and Vijay's fans can encourage Ajith's Veeram as well. Keep the competition intact and make the stars ever green, so that Ajith and Vijay could be successful in their film career. If both the stars deliver hot and successful films simultaneously, then only the fight among the fans too would be tasteful, fruitful and meaningful.
