Will Vijay follow the happening trend?

Looks like the captivating, unsettling at the same time entertaining horror comedy films are the need of the hour, as half-baked commercial potboilers and clichéd love stories are becoming too hard for the K-Town audience to consume.

Horror-comedy is one genre that almost all heroes have tried to touch upon at some point of time in their respective careers, be it Rajinikanth in Chandramukhi or Kamal Haasan in Vayanadan Thamban (Malayalam). The latest to join the list is Suriya whose upcoming film, Masss is said to be on the horror-comedy line.

When you go by the traits of what a good horror-comedy film should have, apart from the thrills, frills and suspense blocks, it is important to have a lead actor with immaculate comedy sense.  Vijay is one actor who is known for his funny dialogues, great timing and not just these, he is someone who has varied expressions under his belt.

In a horror film, you either play the hunter or the hunted, and Vijay has done them all with such finesse. He has acted in similar sort of roles in the past, though not falling under the horror genre space. And with these horror-comedy films turning out to be so fruitful of late, will Vijay act in one such film in the immediate future? If he does so, that should be mighty exciting indeed !!!
