Vijay Sethupathi's Padmini

Pannaiyaarum Padminiyum is an upcoming film starring Vijay Sethupathi and Jayaprakash. The movie centers on the bonding the lead characters have on Premier Padmini, the popular Indian automobile. Jayaprakash plays Pannaiyaar, the owner of the car and Vijay Sethupathi plays the role of Pannaiyaar’s driver.
 

About the unconditional love for the car, Vijay Sethupathi, in a recent interview, said, “When you love some inert thing, it will definitely get some life. You may not be able to see or touch it, but you will definitely be able to feel it.” The promising actor said, “Like Pannaiyaar’s love for his Padmini, everyone will have their very own sentiments. My love is for my father’s gifts. When I wear my father’s shirt, I can smell him. It’s like being with him.”

Pannaiyaarum Padminiyum has cleared the censors with U certificate and is expected to hit the screens by the end of this month.
