Goundamani tries to please the rain God
Jan 15, 2014 Veteran actor Goundamani is making his reentry with 49 0, in which he plays the protagonist. Directed by Arokiya Das, a former associate of Gautham Menon, this movie, unlike the title, which might sound political, is an out and out comedy film.
The team recently shot for a song in and around Tanjore. Goundamani, in this particular song, apparently attempts to please the rain God to show mercy to his land. The veteran has also danced for the number.
“It was an amazing experience to work with a stalwart like Goundamani sir, and his professionalism is unmatched,” says the director. “World knows about his timing of dialogues. But, the other best quality is that, he is equally good at being on time.”
Das also promises that 49 O will have more of his punch lines and that Goundamani will be a treat to watch.
