The undisputed King of comedy in Tamil cinema, the Sultan of sarcasm, the champion of counters, the original All in all Azhagu Raja, the legendary Goundamani celebrates his birthday today as he turns 74 years old.
After entering the industry in 1977, he has served the audience plenty of unforgettable skits and gags, most of them with his trusty counterpart Senthil. While his scenes are still being enjoyed on TV and online, his innings in the industry is far from over as he’s set to make a return in a film titled Vaaimai, directed by Senthil Kumar and starring Shanthanoo Bhagyaraj.
Behindwoods thanks Goundamani for all the laughs and wishes him a very happy birthday and the best of life ahead.
