The remake of K Balachander’s classic, Thillu Mullu that starred Rajinikanth has been wrapped up, we hear. Starring Shiva and Isha Talwar in the lead, Thillu Mullu 2 is being helmed by Durai. About the progress of the film, actor Shiva tweeted, “Thank god and the whole unit, we finished Thillu Mullu shooting yesterday. Hope we did a justice to the real one thanks Cheers.”

The film also brings back the legendary composer MS Viswanathan to compose a couple of songs in the film. Yuvan Shankar Raja has also earned the honour of working with the veteran in this comedy film. Also starring Prakash Raj, Kovai Sarala, Sathyan, Soori, Brahmanandham, Ilavarasu and Mano Bala, this remake has been produced by Vendar Movies.
