On the 19^th of April, an interesting clash might ensue at the Tamil Nadu box-office. Udhayam NH4, directed by Manimaran and co-produced by Vetrimaaran and Gouravam, directed by Radha Mohan and produced by Prakash Raj are expected to release on this day.

While Siddharth and Ashrita Shetty pair up for Udhayam NH4 with G.V.Prakash’s music, Yami Gautam and Allu Sirish are a part of the Thaman musical Gouravam. Both the movies would be released in Telugu as well, it must be noted.

Before this, the makers of Gouravam would look to amicably resolve an issue related to their movie wherein the Kongu Vellala Gounder Peravai feels that the movie might trigger communal tensions and violence in the state due to its controversial theme centering on honour killings. The Gounder Peravai has requested the Tamil Nadu government to intervene in this matter as they feel that this movie would disrupt the unity prevailing in the state among the various castes and communities.
