Huge applause for Vijay and Mohan Lal

For Vijay’s opening song in Jilla 'Pattu Onnu', no stone was left unturned in terms of ensuring total grandeur. The song which was picturized in Pollachi features close to 5000 extras that includes supporting cast members and dancers of various folk styles such as Mayilattam and Oyilattam. The song has been choreographed by the popular Raju Sundaram.

A highlight of this song we hear is that a particular sequence features Vijay and Mohan Lal singing and dancing together for a single shot that lasts about 40 seconds. Once this challenging segment was successfully shot, Vijay reportedly embraced Mohan Lal in delight of the senior actor’s performance. Not just that, but a crowd of about ten thousand people that had assembled to see the two stars in action too broke into a huge applause once that particular portion was shot.

The track ‘Pattu Onnu’ and the remaining songs composed by Imman will all be officially released in stores on 21^st December while a surprise soft launch took place earlier this evening.
