Mohan Lal leaves Vijay speechless

Director of Jilla, Neason, in a recent interview confessed that he did expect some pressure while dealing with two mass heroes like Ilayathalapathy Vijay and Malayalam superstar Mohan Lal. But to his delight, both the stars had become really close during the making of Jilla, which in turn made his job easy.

Neason revealed that Vijay had invited Mohan Lal’s family for a grand lunch and in Mohan Lal had not only returned the favour but also topped it with an unexpected surprise. It is believed that Lalettan had invited Vijay’s family over to his ECR residence for a Kerala styled lunch and while at the house Vijay who was wowed by the paintings in Lalettan’s house was in store for a huge surprise as Mohan Lal gifted a 6 ft painting of the Jilla hero, leaving Ilayathalapathy Vijay lost for words.

On the subject of the much hyped Pongal face off, director Neason is very optimistic about both Jilla and Ajith’s Veeram tasting success at the box office. Neason and Veeram director Siruthai Siva go back a long way as both were from the same film institute and the Jilla director wished the best for Siva in his project.
