The National Award fever’s everywhere and every film enthusiast is celebrating the films that won the prestigious award. As far as the Tamil and Telugu films are concerned, Paradesi, Vishwaroopam, Vazhakku Enn 18/9 and Eega (Naan Ee in Tamil) have won National Awards. But what other common link could possibly be there between these films? But surprisingly there is and that link is PVP Cinemas.

PVP Cinemas has produced Eega that has won two National Awards for the best Telugu Movie and best visual effects. The company had also partly funded Paradesi, Vishwaroopam and Vazhakku Enn 18/9. While talking to Behindwoods, Rajeev, executive producer, PVP Cinemas, said that the entire credit goes to director Rajamouli, who conceptualized the film and the VFX team Makuta. “The film appealed to both jury and common man, even though it lacked star power,” added Rajeev. He also expressed his happiness in having been a part of Naan Ee and all the other projects that won the National Awards.
