After overcoming several hurdles strewn in its path prior to the release, Vishwaroopam completes a century today, making it seem like a hard fought innings by Kamal Haasan. Kamal’s action entertainer has truly managed to live up to the hype and expectations built before the release with its content and delivery. Meanwhile, Pandiraj’s Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga and Shahid Khader's remake of Traffic, Chennaiyil Oru Naal, have reached the 50 day milestone.

100 days later, Vishwaroopam continues to remain a trouble magnet as the Tamil Nadu Film Exhibitors Association is looking to register a criminal case against Raj Kamal Films International for alleged forgery. It has been reported that Kamal presented a document to the Competition Commission of India during the period when theatre owners collectively opposed the release of his film. Since there is no particular organization representing the theater owners, Kamal had supposedly mentioned it with the registration number and address of Tamil Nadu Film Exhibitors Association.

Taking offence to the misuse of his organization’s name and details, its General Secretary R. Paneerselvam filed a complaint with the Police commissioner and now has been forced to move to court since no action was reportedly taken on this matter.
