Thala or Thalapathy? Who is Suriya's pick?
Jul 14, 2013Suriya was recently seen on a leading TV channel interacting with students from the MOP Vaishnav Girls College and a lot of interesting questions were thrown at the Singam 2 star. Director Hari was also present at the meet.
When Suriya was asked if he was open to doing a film like Dostana in Tamil, he jokingly admitted that he feels a big generation gap between him and the students as their tastes are so progressive. Dostana was a Hindi film which lightheartedly suggested at a relationship between two gay men. When prodded further on who would make an apt 'pair' for him in a Dostana type film here, he responded 'Maddy', thereby sending all the girls into frenzy mode.
The girls wished that Suriya did another romantic musical on the lines of Sillunu Oru Kaadhal. The highlight of the show was when the hosting anchor, VJ Ramya, asked Suriya if he liked Thala or Thalapathy. To this, Suriya smiled, took his time and smartly answered 'Thala Thalapathy'.
