'Shiv Sena's support for Vishwaroopam'

Kamal Haasan’s Vishwaroopam has been receiving political support from some quarters. One of them being the state’s representative of the Shiv Sena, R. Kumara Raja. He said that the film had only intended to realistically depict the happenings in the underbelly of terrorism.

He also quizzed the state government that if other states were free from law and order situations or any sort of communal disharmony even after the film was screened, why would a similar event transpire in the state of Tamil Nadu. He said that his party and its members will stand by Kamal in his fight for the film’s release.
