Sanjay Dutt's 'Saamy' turn from June

The Hindi remake of Vikram’s Saamy, titled Policegiri, will be released on June 14th. This remake is being directed by popular Tamil director K.S.Ravikumar and features Sanjay Dutt, Prachi Desai and the hotshot Prakash Raj as the antagonist.

 

Saamy was a big blockbuster in 2003 and gave director Hari and actors Vikram and Trisha, a big push in the Tamil scene. Sanjay Dutt would be hoping that Policegiri would give his career a whiff of fresh air.

 

Some action scenes in the movie were recently shot in Chennai, it must be noted and Sanjay Dutt had even met Rajinikanth during his stay here.
