The release date of Bejoy Nambiar’s David has been fixed as February 1^st according to the print ads that are out today. Vikram and Jiiva play the lead roles in this movie which is about two individuals in different eras, but with the same name. The music of David, scored by a bunch of talented musicians like Prashanth Pillai, Remo Fernandez, Anirudh and some bands, is already a big hit with the youth.

Interestingly Bejoy’s mentor Mani Ratnam’s Kadal is also rumored to release on February 1^st. With Vishwaroopam getting ready for a January 25^th release, we have to see if all these big releases are able to garner enough theaters at the same time.
